Lisa Frank: The Legacy and Cultural Impact
History and Founder:
Lisa Frank, born in 1955, is an American artist and businesswoman
who founded Lisa Frank Incorporated in 1979. After moving to Tucson, Arizona, to study art
at the University of Arizona, she began her career with a line of jewelry called Sticky
Fingers. This venture eventually led her to create her iconic stickers, which marked the
beginning of her brand's fame. Her father's influence as an art collector, particularly his
interest in Pop Art, shaped her artistic style.
